Sony RX100 III Underwater Test / Showcase

Hi guys, here is a video I have put together to showcase the photo and video quality of the sony RX100 iii underwater.

If you are looking for an entry level camera to film spearfishing and marine life that you might encounter while freediving without spending huge amounts of money I would highly recommend a setup like this. It’s solid and fits in a dive bag easily, has built in stabilisation and an autofocus that actually performs underwater.

West Coast Spearfishing – Blue water and schools of sharks

To put this dive into context, we were facing some bad swell and wind on the east coast and I was helping Julian (Spearo Camp NZ) guide an American client Ted who came over for the sole purpose of shooting a good NZ yellowtail kingfish.
